Graziano D. Giglio, DDS
Dr. Graziano D. Giglio is a board-certified prosthodontist focusing on aesthetics and implant dentistry to enhance the quality of life for his patients. Dr. Giglio continually shares and develops his clinical perspective through his affiliation with many prestigious dental organizations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Dentists, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, the Northeastern Gnathological Society, and the New York Academy of Dentistry. Dr. Giglio is also a member of dentistry’s national honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
His clinical expertise is recognized by colleagues, as well, who admire and respect his judgment and leadership qualities, as he serves on several boards and committees of many dental groups, including a term as President of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics in 2013.
Dr. Giglio keeps current with the very latest in research and technology through his faculty position at New York University where he is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of Fixed Prosthodontics in the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. With the same care he provides to patients, Dr. Giglio thoughtfully guides and mentors the next generation of skilled clinicians, who continually reach out to him for advice and counsel, well after graduation and into their everyday practices.
Dr. Giglio embarked on his career after graduation from Duke University, where he holds a B.S. degree with a double major in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. He received his D.D.S. from New York University College of Dentistry in 1987, and his postgraduate training in prosthodontics was completed at New York University in 1990.
For more than thirty-two years, Dr. Giglio has found numerous opportunities to share his experience with the dental community as he publishes and lectures frequently on dental implants and aesthetics. As a result, he has received multiple awards in dentistry throughout his career, including the Prosthodontist Private Practice Award from the American College of Prosthodontists in 2013.
Dr. Giglio is married to Dr. Ana Becil Giglio. They have three sons together and live in New York City.
